Recruitment Principles

It is proposed that a set of Recruitment Principles will replace the Commissioners’ Recruitment Code. The Recruitment Principles are intended to be a clear set of principles to be applied for the purposes of meeting the requirement of selection on merit on the basis of fair and open competition. The Commissioners wish to use this opportunity to emphasis that we are regulators of principles. The details of recruitment policies and practices are for departments and agencies to decide.
