Enhanced powers

The powers of the Civil Service Commission under the draft Bill are very similar to the powers the Commissioners currently have under the Civil Service Order in Council. We believe that this is the correct approach for the legislation. There are a number of proposals in the draft legislation where the current powers are enhanced. We support these proposals.
