Survey on promotion of the Civil Service Code

Method

In May 2008 we wrote to a sample of the Human Resources Directors of the major employing departments and agencies.

Responses

We received twenty responses from organisations that between them employ just under 50% of the total number of civil servants in the Home Civil Service. read more

The survey did confirm our suspicions that in many, possibly most, departments, employment grievances, appeals under the Civil Service Code and issues that might read more

Improvements

The Commissioners are pleased that the results of the survey indicate that departments are doing many very positive things to promote the Civil Service Code.
