Promotion of the Code

In May 2008 the Commissioners conducted a survey among the major departments and agencies on what they were doing to promote the Code. Departments reported some very positive practices and initiatives. It seems clear that the Civil Service Code is now firmly embedded in the human resources and management practices of many departments. The Commissioners have continued to promote the core values and the Civil Service Code in their work throughout the year.
