Source of successful candidates

The percentage of senior appointees joining the Civil Service from the private sector was slightly down on 2006/07. The percentage of appointments from the wider public sector was slightly higher at 64%. These include appointments from the Civil Service (41%) and the rest of the public sector (23%).
