Annual Report 2008-09
Welcome to the Civil Service Commissioners’ Annual Report for the year 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009.
This has been a busy and challenging year for the Civil Service Commissioners. We have introduced our ‘Recruitment Principles’ which are a further significant development of our role as a strategic regulator. We have also, for the first time, commissioned an audit of departments’ policies and procedures for upholding and promoting the Civil Service Code. You can read the results of the audit and the steps we will be taking to help departments improve their performance.
